The Disney Digital Studio Services, Sound Department has a rich history in sound mixing and innovation dating back to Fantasia in the 1940’s. Fantasia went on to win several technical achievement awards from the Academy as it was one of the first to mix in “Stereo” pioneering an early form of surround sound “Fantasound”.

Today with state-of-the-art digital facilities and production support infrastructure, Digital Studio Services Sound continues to lead the way in Sound Post Production.
